Peña Nieto claims he never used Pegasus "because he never understood Candy Crush."

Los Pinos Informáticos.- Enrique Peña Nieto categorically denied having used the Pegasus spy system, arguing that he didn't even understand Candy Crush , and therefore would be incapable of hacking other people's cell phones.
This, after new information came to light about the infamous surveillance system contracted during his administration, which, according to everyone involved, was only decorative, because no one admits to having used it, but mysteriously everyone was aware of everything.

“I've never used Pegasus. In fact, I didn't even know how it worked. If I didn't get past level 3 of Candy Crush… imagine if I started hacking phones ,” the Mexican native stated while searching for his new girlfriend's country of origin on a map.
Peña Nieto couldn't even get through Plants vs. Zombies. The former president also asserted that "during his six-year term, there was no time for such things," as his priority was taking selfies with other sitting presidents, practicing smiles in front of the mirror, and figuring out why his Tamagotchi was dying so quickly.

“ They once tried to teach me how to play 'Minecraft,' but I was on a video call with Obama,” Peña added, completely ruling out any intention of spying on citizens… and female citizens, too.
Former cabinet officials, who asked to remain anonymous, came to his defense, claiming that Enrique didn't even know how to use his own phone. According to them, while trying to sync his iCloud account, he once uploaded all his photos with La Gaviota to Los Pinos's internal network, brightening the day of several systems engineers.
